She/Her
As a therapist, my main priority is to meet each and every client exactly where they are. In doing this, my ultimate goal is to create a safe space for exploring alternative ways of thinking, in a warm judgment-free environment. Life’s journeys can be overwhelmingly difficult. Whether it involves figuring out what healing looks like after loss, or recognizing what cycles or individuals are holding us back, trauma touches every one of us. For this reason, I feel that empathy and curiosity, are the most important aspects of the therapeutic relationship.
My approach accentuates attention and detail, tapping not only into the individual dynamics to behavior and worldview, but also the multitude of other systems that encompass an individual.
I deeply acknowledge how much value and influence systems can have on individuals, couples, and families. Societal pressures and paradigms can also greatly impact the story one attaches themselves to.
I draw on mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral strategies, solution‑focused techniques, and emotion‑focused approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as a means to help support meaningful, sustainable change.
